Unfortunately, this temporary respite ended abruptly by 2021 when its conservation status had been revised back down to &#8220;at risk&#8221; in Domestic Animal Diversity Information System (DAD-IS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This variation in conservation status for the Spiti Horse underscores the ongoing challenges associated with conserving this rare breed.
